Welcome! The start of something old, new, and true

Hello! this is officially my first blog! whatever officially is supposed to mean. The blog came out of the necessity to create a forum for myself and anyone.... (well) more importantly people hailing from and living in Cleveland and the Ohio area, to discuss things that are important to "them". These "things" as defined by Webster's dictionary are Sports(Browns, Cavs, Indians, General) Movies, Politics and Entertainment. I want to express and hear from my people of my home city (Cleveland) and State (Which is Ohio). I'm an Actor, Personality, Writer, Producer, living on the east coast (NYC tri-state area, more bluntly known by those who commute as New Jersey). I've lived out here for going on three years and being away from home has given me an understanding of where I come from and who I am. It's my belief the people of Cleveland and greater Ohio are remarkable people. You are incredibly diverse (unlike what many people may think). Your occupations, views, lifestyle, careers, families, religions are distinctly your's. We might not be as condensed as a Manhattan but from Cleveland, to Cincinnati, to Columbus and up to Bowling Green there is a wealth of healthy difference.

I was talking to a cabbie a few months ago and during the conversation mentioned I was from Cleveland. He said, "Wow, there must be a lot of corn there!" I said "Well, in some parts!" I continued "Ohio has many different urban areas, like Cleveland, as well as small towns. It has factory towns and colleges galore. The state is filled with tough Republican and Democratic views. And the sports fans are the greatest in United States. There are incredible artists who live there and have gone elsewhere to pursue successful careers. So, we have a little more than just corn chief"

So, this is the bottom line. Living on the east coast I have a love for New York in all its spledor. It is as an organism of all things in one. Love-Hate, Rich-Poor, Life-Death, Yankees-Mets Ect. Yet, I cannot deny the things that have made me who I am, and drive me forward in my life are undeniably and distinctly Cleveland. That essence has given me the strength to pursue a career in performance/entertainment. It is in my DNA. Football on Fridays, Sunday Browns, A great play at the theater. So please, I want your voices to be heard as much as mine. Let's talk Browns, Cavs, Indians. Let's talk Obama-Mccain. Let's talk film/theater/movies/entertainment. Let's make this a real forum for us. Let's use this forum to let people anywhere in the USA know who we are and what's important to us. The great thing about New York and New Jersey is that most people aren't actually from these areas. They come for opportunity but always represent where there from. I've been representing Cleveland out here for a while and I need some help. So, Starting tomorrow let's talk.

This week i'm going to hold a Browns Bye week special. Trying to find some sense of sanity in the season that could be the season that never was.

Also this Week: Lebron and the Yankees cap/Browns Game saga. I got my view and you'll read it.

Finally, It's election time and that means politicians magically start fawning over Ohio and the interests of the people there. It's convenient this happens every 4 years.
